“I’ve seen many other shows in my lifetime, of course, as a broadcast person, but I think this one—the choreography is beautiful. The costumes are absolutely fantastic. And what we’re seeing here, ladies and gentlemen, is absolute precision, and I think it’s absolutely spectacular... People of the world should learn how to get along with each other, that’s obvious. But the spirit of what I see with Shen Yun is about reinforcing that whole feeling of freedom. And that’s what every human being should have the opportunity [to have]—no one should be denied freedom because a victim simply is someone with no options. And everyone in the world... we here in America, should never take freedom for granted. Those people in the world that don’t have it, we’re here today to support them. They should also have that experience... I feel like my troubles have just walked away from me and just taken off. I think it’s important for people to realize that it’s a spiritual, peaceful, and an absorbing experience that I haven’t had in a long time. Very happy to see this.”
